New Riders
So you want to ride?
Here are the steps to sign up:
Both competitive riders and adventure riders need to do the following:
1. Fill out the Contact Us form briefly introducing yourself AND include your parents names and email addresses in your message (required).
2. Your parents will receive an invitation to the "Pit Zone" to sign up their athlete. Several parental consent forms and fees are required at this stage and are completed online.
3. You and your parents will be invited to sign up on the TeamSnap
app. All team communications and activities (including practices) are done through TeamSnap.
4. Come ride!

Volunteers
You want to volunteer as a XC coach?

The team is seeking volunteers who want to ride their bikes at practices in support of all age and skill levels. There are opportunities to volunteer from beginner levels through advanced and everything in between.
Coaching falls under three certified levels with increased licence/training requirements per level. The minimum requirements for a Level 1 coach are 1/a background check and 2/approximately two hours of online course work (7 short classes) through the
Coach Licence Program.
How to Sign Up:
1. Contact Us and give a brief introduction of the skill level you would be interested in coaching.
2. Receive an invitation to the PitZone, the National InterScholastic Cycling Association website.
3. Create a user name and password and proceed to purchase Coach Registration. There is a $25.00 fee to NICA and $38.00 background check with Sterling Volunteers (the team can reimburse you).
4. Once background check is completed, proceed to your personal PitZone dashboard and complete the seven online modules.
5. Come ride with us!
